A different type of race

Its been a busy week. I ended up running about 8 miles....not the best, but considering my schedule. I was happy with it. I got 27 miles in the week before. My wife entered a contest on the radio station 96.7. It keep me busy. I had to build a car that was no longer than 4 ft. long, 3 ft wide and had to be able to be worn. Yes you heard me right. It had to be light enough to be worn. About 175.00 dollars later I had converted a pile of wood and aluminum flashing into a car to qualify. My wife was the driver and we had two others as pit crew. We ended up going out in the first heat race, but we all had a blast! I added a pic with my daughter in the car. It really wasn't a race like most think of, it was more like a board game, The track was made of squares, then they had balls in a bingo machine that would tell you to move forward or back. So you could say it was more the luck of the draw, but still a lot of fun. Could have walked away with a $10,000.00 price. Maybe next time. Now I just need to think of something to do with the car. Maybe a nice addition to the Halloween parade.
